Today’s challenge is simple: say what you’re thankful for and give yourself a break. Thanksgiving doesn’t need to be overcomplicated, and honestly, neither does self-love today.
What I’m Thankful For
This year, I’m thankful for:
- My friends and family being healthy.
- The fact that I’m alive and able to keep working on myself, even when it’s messy.
- The incredible people out there who have supported Self Loathe Club by buying a hat, shirt, or hoodie.
Every purchase means so much more than just a sale. Because of you, 10% of everything sold goes to NAMI and Mental Health America, two organizations doing amazing work to support mental health. You’re helping make a difference—and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
A Break Is Self-Love
Today, self-love looks like taking it easy. No big challenges, no overthinking—just a moment to reflect on what matters and to acknowledge the good in your life, no matter how big or small.
For me, it’s about appreciating the journey, the people who’ve supported me, and the chance to keep building something meaningful with Self Loathe Club.
My Challenge to You
Find one thing you’re thankful for today—whether it’s your favorite side dish, surviving another family gathering, or simply getting through the week. Hold onto that feeling, and let yourself breathe. You’ve earned it.
A Final Thank You
To everyone out there who’s joined the Self Loathe Club community: thank you. Your support means everything. Together, we’re raising awareness, breaking stigmas, and creating a space for people who often feel like they don’t belong.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving, however you choose to spend it.
Embrace Your Weird,
Nick
